Review Of ASUS K601-RBBBR05
REVIEW:
The Asus K601-RBBBR05 comes in the category of $500 laptops. It is one of the inexpensive laptops which come with a dual core processor. It has a very different and unique design. The manufacturers of Asus have chosen a combination of deep black and brown colour for this laptop. You will see a hounds-tooth pattern on its glossy lid and keyboard deck. A small logo of Asus is placed at the centre of the lid and on the top left corner of the screen bezel. The wrist rest area is wider than expected. All over, the chassis of the laptop gives a solid feel.
It has a 16 inch glossy LED display which supports 1366×768 pixel resolutions. Its screen uses LED backlight instead of using older fluorescent tubes because it uses less energy and gives a better picture. The antiglare coating on the screen helps to reduce the reflections. You will find a 0.3 megapixel webcam just above the display.
It has a famous chiclet style keyboard. Its keys are widely spaced. It also provides an additional numeric pad. The size of arrow keys has been reduced to adjust the numeric pad. All over, I can say that it gives a comfortable typing experience. It has a small touch pad which supports multi touch gestures like two finger scrolling. The left and right mouse buttons are very stiff. Its Atlec Lansing speakers do not emit loud sound so we would recommend using headphones.

The ASUS K601-RBBBR05 gives good value of your money by providing all the important features which you might require in today’s laptop. I would give 4 out of 5 stars to this laptop.
