Review Of Sony Ericsson T226 (AT&T)
REVIEW:
In this beautiful world you have to remember that there are some rich people and some not so rich people so the not so rich people needs simply a phone not a Camera phone or a MP3 combination they need just a phone. So keeping these not so rich people in mind Sony Ericsson has introduced theT226. It offers a bit of extra features such as MMS support and photo caller ID. It’s a simple mobile and it’s for those users who can’t afford to buy big mobile example smart phones.
T226 is a completely compact mobile. The T226’s design is becoming the trademark design for Sony Ericsson and they have started introducing these kinds of design handsets and with success as well. This phone is small and light enough to slip into your pocket with little notice. The handset’s slightly tapering sides are easy to grip as well. Now come to its navigation buttons. A four-way navigation button rests in between the display and the keypad. The joystick is in the middle of the navigation key. Its bit of a problem and it’s too easy to hit one of the directional keys when pressing the joystick to make a selection. On the good point of view it works well for gaming
The display supports 512-colors but is not too vibrant as in the other Sony Ericsson’s mobiles. The keys backlighting could be brighter than this. T226′s feature list is okay not great and not to blow you away but it has all the basic features that are needed in a phone. you can copy contacts or add 250 more names to the SIM card or You can store up to 250 contacts in the handset’s internal phone book as well. The t226 takes call blocking a step further; now you can choose to receive calls from not only certain numbers but certain groups, as well. If the phone number of an incoming call is not on the list, it gets automatically rejected by a busy tone and it’s a great feature to have in a mobile.
The T226 supports Multimedia Messaging Service. You can also send messages with sounds and pictures to other mobile phones or via e-mail addresses as well. On the other hand you can also assign pictures to contacts for photo caller ID or save them as wallpaper. So a good handset that Sony Ericsson has introduced for its users.

Sony Ericsson’s T226 is a good mobile for the basic users who just wants the mobile for their basic use for example calling only. It has got a good enough battery life. But there is no camera and MP3 and the call quality is not good as well. So I give 2 stars out of 5 stars to it.
