Review Of Sony Ericsson T608 (Sprint)

REVIEW:
Sony Ericsson has now introduced the T608 and it has come out with some new and great feature for the CDMA mobiles. Sony Ericsson has made some changes from its previous CDMA mobile and its navigation controls and poky user interface will be a drag for some users. The phone supports backgrounds and games from Sprint PCS Vision. It’s light in weight and makes it feel comfortable to the hands. It’s not as hefty as the P800 smart phone and not as small as the Sony Ericsson’s very popular handset the T68i so it’s in between the both handsets.

The design of the phone is pretty good. Its color looks cool as well. It will take some time for you to figure out about its navigation because every day it is use to produce some immediate gripes and the four menu buttons also aren’t labeled. It’s easy to hit the wrong one because all four are extremely close together and slick. On the other hand you have to press the numbers of the phone firmly to dial the reason is that P800’s blue-backlit keypad is too small.

Now come to its internal display it supports 65,536 colors and its far more superior to Sony Ericsson’s T68i. Both the graphics and text of the phone looked sharp. It has a double- paned viewing screen and sometimes lots of dust comes in the internal display and the protected screen as well so that’s a bit of problem in this handset. The features of the phone offer some extra than the normal features that we get in a handset. It has a 500-name phone book, wireless Web access via Sprint’s 1xRTT network, a built-in speaker phone; picture caller ID, voice-activated dialing and you can customize the phone by downloading a variety of wallpaper, animated screensavers, graphics, and 16-chord polyphonic tones from the Sprint PCS Vision site.

The T609 supports downloadable games and apps. Phone also takes multiple-key inputs as a result so you can play games that are a lot more advanced than our favorites, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. On the other hand it takes a bit of a long to launch a game.

MAIN POINT:
The Sony Ericsson’s T608 is a decent phone to have and Sony Ericsson has added some extra options in this handset and they are very beneficial for the handset and for the users as well. The battery life is poor and its small screen also is a bit of a problem. But the call quality and its design is pretty good. I give 2.5 stars out 5 stars to it.
